Nose Surgery
Nose surgery, or rhinoplasty, is a procedure aimed at altering the shape or function of the nose. It is commonly performed for cosmetic reasons to enhance appearance, correct deformities, or address breathing difficulties caused by structural issues such as a deviated septum.
The surgery can be done through open techniques, where an external incision is made, or closed techniques, with incisions inside the nostrils. During the procedure, the surgeon reshapes the bone and cartilage to achieve the desired result. Recovery typically involves swelling and bruising, with most patients returning to normal activities within a few weeks. Rhinoplasty not only improves aesthetics but can also enhance overall nasal function.
